    Win an iKettle

Smarter Launches The iKettle

A nice cup of tea is sometimes the best way to start the working day. In fact, it's sometimes the best way to end the working day, too. As George Orwell stated in his 1946 essay, A Nice Cup Of Tea, there are some golden rules not to miss if you want to get the perfect brew.

While some of Orwell's rules are a bit dated now, there are some that still apply. The most important is boiling hot water. To help you get boiling hot water for the perfect cup of tea, but without the hassle, Smarter Apps has created the iKettle which is due for release later this month. Entr the competition now for your chance to win this nifty gadget.

The iKettle connects to your wifi allowing you to control it via an app for Android or iOS on your smartphone, tablet or any other wifi enabled device. Simply download the app from your app store, press the on button and your iKettle will start to boil. You can control the kettle from anywhere in the house, saving you up to five minutes each time you make a hot drink, and saving you a total of two whole days a year.

The iKettle has four different temperature settings to ensure you get the perfect temperature for the drink and will also tell you when it's empty and remind you to refill it. The Wake Up Mode wakes you up to a pre-boiled kettle, saving you precious time in the morning and the Welcome Home Mode asks you if you want to start boiling the kettle when you walk through the door after a long day.

Perfect for the home or the office, the iKettle is made from stainless steel and you can purchase coloured skins separately to make it fit in with your kitchen décor. What's more, multiple users can download the app which makes it quick and easy for everybody to boil the kettle.

The iKettle is available to purchase online and is priced at £99.99.
